making screencast of a program with audio

Thanks for putting this forum up!
I was trying to make a screencast introduction to audacity, a great audio editing tool. The problem is that I can't get WME to take audio input from two different places for the same screencast. That is, I want my voice AND sounds from audacity in the same screencast.
Any ideas?
Thanks. |

Ok, I did some searching around and found out it's possible.
People have had the same issue when trying to record podcasts and play music in winamp (or similar) at the same time.
Short answer :
turn down your volume
unmute your microphone in the playback settings
select "what u hear" or stereo mix in the record settings
I made a screencast example here :

So yes, this screencast is actually useful to people who are trying to do this in their podcasts as well as screencasters. |
